KEY & GAS SPRING

LZ-046 Semi-Automatic Rising Bollard

A key-operated bollard with gas-spring-assisted raising and manual lowering. The post remains within its buried housing when open, so there is no separate post to carry away.

KEY & GAS SPRING

A manual opening. An assisted return.

Unlock the post and press it down by hand. Release it again to let the gas spring assist the return to its raised position.

DIMENSIONS & INSTALLATION

Separate the rise from the buried housing.

The 600 mm rise is an above-ground dimension. Housing depth and excavation are confirmed separately, with drainage and ground levels.

INSTALLATION REFERENCE

Plan the product and its foundation together.

LZ-046 original catalogue dimension drawing; reference dimensions are described in the adjacent text

Original reference drawing

The post rises 600 mm above grade. The drawing and specification table give different below-ground housing depths, so the excavation and housing dimensions are confirmed on the project installation drawing.

PRODUCT QUESTIONS

Planning with LZ-046.

Is this an electrically powered bollard?

The illustrated operating method is key release with a gas spring for raising, and manual pressure for lowering. It is not described as an electric remote-controlled hydraulic system.

Do I have to lift the post out of the ground?

No. LZ-046 retracts into its housing. The manual action is to press it down, rather than remove the complete post.

What depth should be allowed?

Confirm the installation drawing before work starts. The catalogue elevation and the model table show different housing depths, so a final foundation depth is not stated here.
