Main profile
Aluminium alloy
55 × 50 × 1.0 mmWidth × depth × wall thickness
An aluminium retractable gate for industrial parks, schools and managed entrances. Linked scissor sections extend across the entrance and retract to one side on wheels.

On-screen colours are illustrative. The final paint finish is confirmed in your quotation.
STRUCTURE & MATERIALS
Aluminium profiles form a series of wheeled frames. Pivoting scissor links let the gate extend and retract. The powder-coated finish is cured at high temperature.

SCISSOR-LINK STRUCTURE
Multiple rows of scissor links connect the frames through pivot joints. Wear-resistant sleeves are fitted at the joints.
Allow space to one side for the retracted gate.

DRIVE SYSTEM
The drive head houses the motor assembly that moves the linked gate sections. The drive is selected to suit the gate and site conditions.
The supplied motor rating is confirmed in your quotation.

The drive head has an LED scrolling display with a configurable message. English or another display language can be specified; character support and display options are confirmed in your quotation.

Cast-aluminium wheel assemblies support the gate as it moves along the ground. Provide a suitable surface and keep the travel path clear.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Reference dimensions for the L-39. Final gate dimensions and space for the retracted gate are confirmed for your site.
The 600 mm dimension is the inner gate width in the end view, not the clear opening width.
Provide the required clear opening width, gate height and space available for the retracted gate. We will confirm the retracted length and drive configuration.
INSTALLATION LAYOUTS
Compare the clear opening width and space needed for the retracted gate.
The rear of the gate is fixed at the column. The retracted gate occupies part of the entrance opening, reducing the clear opening width.
Retracted gate elevation View from inside
The retracted gate sits inside the property, behind the boundary wall and entrance column. Allow space for the gate and clearance from the wall and column.

Illustrative layouts, not to scale. Total gate length refers to the fully extended gate, including the drive head. Final dimensions are confirmed for your entrance.
CONTROL & PROTECTION
Select sensing and access options for your entrance.

Optional infrared sensing stops and reverses the gate if an obstruction is detected during closing.

An optional infrared alarm detects attempts to climb over the gate.

An optional licence plate recognition system opens the gate for authorised vehicles. Access rules are configured for your site.

A keyed clutch release lets you move the gate by hand during a power failure. The release mechanism depends on the supplied drive.
